Key Search: Risk Manager, IT Security Consultant, Business Risk.
Our client a truly global blue chip FMCG organisation require an IT Risk Consultant to join their IT Europe team based in Deeside, near Chester, Cheshire.
Core remit is to provide IT Risk services to the IT Europe Divisions to ensure that systems delivered are secure by design and compliant with external reference standards. The primary purpose is to ensure that the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets are protected in line with business risk. The range of services used to achieve this includes risk assessment, risk management, security benchmarking, protection and penetration testing and product selection and evaluation. Develop plans as a project leader or as a project participant to progress the implementation of information security initiatives. Provide advice and consultancy on the strategic, technical, regulatory, risk and training aspects of information security to support all levels of management. Build strong working relationships with strategic vendors.
You will be experienced in a role encompassing most of the above remit. A good knowledge of Risk analysis, IT disciplines, including ITIL. A thorough knowledge of information security controls and countermeasures, including BS7799. A broad appreciation of the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements such as the Data Protection Act, SOX etc. CISSP Accredited would be beneficial but not essential.
