My Financial Client requires an experienced Infrastructure Architect with a strong knowledge of Togaf (preferably TOGAF certified).
The successful candidate will be required to gain a strong understanding of the current IT estate which is managed by the clients Technical Infrastructure outsource partner and will need to create a roadmap for how this will evolve in the next 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Review the Current Technical Infrastructure Architecture
- Produce the Technical Infrastructure Architecture recommendations
- Provide input and updates to the 3 year IT Strategy
- Maintain the Technical Architecture Roadmap
- Produce and review Technical Policies and Standards
Skills Required:
• Lead infrastructure architecture experience on major projects
• Sound knowledge of architectural analysis & design
• Experience of Security aspects of Technical Infrastructure
• Ability to provide a strategic view on design options that are
i) cost effective
ii) efficient
iii) reusable;
iv) that comply with the Clients architectural principles and standards; and that
v) enhance the business process
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to describe technical infrastructure to various stakeholders
• The ability to provide support and direction within a constantly changing environment within the context of a dynamic ever-changing business
• Innovative approach to IS and its use
• Preferably TOGAF certified
• Experience and knowledge of Sun and Wintel environments
• Experience and knowledge of Storage and Networks
• Knowledge of Service-Orientated Architecture
