A fantastic opportunity has arisen in this well established contractor in the East Midlands due to four large prestigious contracts being successfully secured by their estimating department. Due to this rise in workload they are looking to expand their commercial department, and with even more work in the pipeline this is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a growing successful contractor.
<b><u>The Main Contractor Role?</ b></ u>
The position is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor working in this Main Contractor Yorkshire office within an extremely motivated and well managed Quantity Surveying department.
You will be undertaking all aspects and responsibilities of a Main Contractor Senior Quantity Surveyor and be involved in an array of different build sectors such as Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Retail, Urban Regeneration, Design & Build, Heritage, Refurbishments, Private Housing, Social Housing, Residential, Civils, Utilities, Infrastructure in the Yorkshire area, on projects in the value of £1m to £15m. Initially you will be site based on one of the four following projects, £5m Hotel Yorkshire, £5.5m Bus Deport Yorkshire, Medical Centre £6m, and Road Police Station £4m.

They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with relevant experience within the following sectors Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Retail, Urban Regeneration, Design & Build, Heritage, and Refurbishments. A professional and intelligent person with a proven track record of delivering projects and reaching targets within budget. Someone with the ability to work on their own initiative and is capable of handling large and complex sites while over looking the Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
