My client is one of the world's leading IT consultancies, they have operations throughout the world and are renowned for their pioneering IT solutions. They have an enviable client list across all sectors in the UK and are expanding their Technical Architecture team.
Currently my client is looking to recruit an experienced technical architect from a system design or development background who has worked on high availability systems. To be suitable for this role you will have a good knowledge of SOA or EAI and if possible some knowledge of network architecture and design. The platforms and applications my client is looking for experience with are SAP, Oracle eBusiness Java Enterprise Edition, there are also some projects on .Net. It would also be an advantage to have some knowledge of Websphere, Weblogic and BizTalk, however this is not essential to being successful in your application.
My client is ideally looking to hire people who have worked on Energy and Utility projects previously, particularly in the following areas: GIS, Billing, Metering, Energy Retail, Energy Trading or Oil and Gas.
These roles can be based through the UK in any major city and will require some travel to client sites. This role offers a basic salary up to £75K + car allowance + excellent package & benefits.
