Windows Support Analyst required by an organisation with headquarters in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will require previous experience supporting users in a Microsoft environment. The following are essential skills: Windows XP and / or Windows Vista, basic Active Directory, MS Office suite, MS Outlook (Exchange admin), PC Hardware and peripherals. Support will be provided by phone, remotely and at desk side. Candidates will work in an ITIL environment and will also have an opportuity to gain exposure to a variety of other technologies including: Cisco VoIP, content management systems, VPN, various Internet technologies, backup technologies and more... Training will be provided on new technologies and applicants will have an opportunity to study towards recognised Microsoft accreditations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are absolutely essential. This position may suit an applicant that has limited commercial experience (this could be on a work placement) or a helpdesk background and wants to further their career.
