Project Quantity Surveyor - road maintenance project worth £20 million
My client is a prestigious main contractor based in Hertfordshire, they are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to takeover a Highways projects worth up to £20 million a year. This is a wonderful opportunity for the successful Quantity Surveyor to really take charge of their career as they offer the opportunity to become a Commercial Manager within 3 years.

Hertfordshire
Remuneration:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits
Benefits include:
Car / Car allowance, pension, healthcare, 26 days holiday and annual bonus
The Client:
My client is a multi disciplinary main contractor with a turnover of over £500 million per annum. They have built a reputation over the years of recruiting from within and offer an award winning in house training scheme. They have been in the business for over 80 years and pride themselves for the quality of their work.
The role:
You will be taking control of a highways project worth up to £20 million pounds per annum. You will have 4 Quantity Surveyors working beneath you and if you prove yourself as a good man manager you will soon be promoted to a Commercial manager with the chance to grow a much larger team. If you are tired of your daily commute to London and are unsatisfied with the career progression at you current job then this is the role for you!
Requirements:
5+ years Quantity Surveying experience in the UK
Main Contractor and Civils background (roads and highways is desirable)
Previous experience working on civils term maintenance contracts is an advantage
Formal educational qualifications are not essential
