Our Client are a leading Defence consultancy involved in the delivery of complex safety assessments for critical, high integrity systems in the defence and aviation domains. They are currently looking to recruit Safety Engineers of various levels to join their growing safety engineering team due to company growth.

The Role: Safety Engineer

As Safety Engineer you will be responsible for:

+ Safety assessments for critical, high integrity systems
+ System of systems safety cases

Experience:

As Safety Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Safety Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ Experience of System Safety Engineering
+ Familiar with safety assessment techniques, e.g. FTA; ETA; FMECA; HAZOPS; GSN etc
+ Familiar with DS00-56 issues 2 and 3; IEC 61508; CAP670; CAP 760 etc
+ Experience of safety cases for defence and/ or aviation programmes
+ Familiar with safety arguments for software intensive systems
