Java, Regulatory Technology, Object Orientated Development, SQL, JUnit, Sybase, Perl, C++, Agile, Banking, London. My client is a leading Investment Bank who seek a senior developer to work within their Regulatory Technology group.
The group is responsible for developing and supporting several applications that deal with regulatory requirements including financial disclosures, maintaining adequate capital against the firm's business risks and management of the firm's liquidity.
The group has a global presense of over 100 people collaborating on high profile projects using agile methodologies and OO technology. The majority of controllers' applications are three tier Java applications with a Sybase database back ends.
The candidate will have extensive interaction with technical architects, senior developers, junior developers and our user community within the finance division.
They will undertake analysis and requirements capture with users, participate in design discussions and propose design solutions, write unit tests/ functional tests, develop Java code and assist in the deployment and support of the application in production.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in Java, Object Orientated development and SQL. In addition to this a first rate educational profile and previous banking experience is mandatory.
