Who provide their clients with property and construction consultancy advice at all stages are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor with experience in retail residential or commercial to join their team and contribute to the continued success of the Birmingham office.


<b><u> Who They are Looking for?</ b></ u>

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with pre and post contract experience with previous experience of wide range of projects from full cost planning of projects through to completion and will want to become the primary contact for the client.

There will be a focus on professional work on a wide variety of selected projects ranging from £2m to £30m including:

High specification fit outs for demanding end users
Retail projects for Top 5 national retailers
Commercial new build and refurbishment projects for well established developers
Residential projects including single dwellings for high net worth individuals
Multi apartment high specification residential complexes for national developers

The ideal candidate will be a proactive PQS who can take responsibility for a number of projects, acting as the sole contact with each client. Current procurement trends require an individual with the skills and experience to undertake the role of employer's agent. You must have well rounded cost planning skills and take a project from initial estimate and tender through to completion.


<b><u> The Role of the Project Quantity Surveyor</ b></ u>


You will be expected to achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts,

They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor whose particular strength is in the retail residential or commercial sector, you will be using your skills and knowledge of this sector advising clients, consultants and contractors on a daily basis, taking projects from early pre-contract to delivery and handover, you will have the ability to multi task as you will be expected to liaise with clients and clients representatives, main contractors, specialist contractors and materials suppliers.

The Project Quantity Surveyor should expect circa £34,000 - £42,000 basic salary dependant upon relevant experience:
