One of the UK's leading construction, property and engineering companies are currently looking for Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager/ Rail experienced Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager to join their Health and Safety team working on a major rail project in central London. Established over 40 years ago, this company has several offices in the South UK and an annual turnover of over a quarter of a million pounds.
<b>The role</ b>
Health and Safety is of great importance to this company and the successful Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager (HSQE) will be joining an award winning, dedicated team of professionals. You will be reporting to the Operation Property Framework (OPF) Project Manager and will have functional responsibility to the Rail Safety Manager.
You will be involved in a major rail project in London and therefore as the ideal Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager (HSQE) you will have at least 2 years experience within rail health and safety.
<b>Amongst the many responsibilities of the role of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager include: </ b>
Co-ordination of all HSQE functions, writing HSQE plans for each site, carrying out risk assessments & undertaking of safety audits, provide advice for Health and Safety within the company and identify training needs, attend OPF management meetings.
<b>The Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager</ b>
The ideal candidate for the role of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager will be qualified to a minimum of NEBOSH Construction certificate and will ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartered membership of IOSH. You will have the relevant rail qualifications such as PTS card and have been working in rail construction/ engineering for a few years minimum.
You will be client facing and have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with team members, Clients and other contacts with ease.
You should be based around the London area or within commutable distance.
<b>In Return? </ b>
The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary of £30,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience and an excellent benefits package.
