Telecoms business based in Reading seeks a strong Data / Transmission engineer who has Very good knowledge of Data & Transmission technologies; SDH / PDH & Ethernet; Hands on experience of diagnostics on Marconi / Nortel Daccs & ADM; Any knowledge of the following advantageous: MPLS, Frame Relay, ATM, TCP/ IP, Cisco router troubleshooting and configuration; Previous experience in NOC environment performing fault diagnostics; Proven ability to employ a structured approach to questioning and adopt a logical troubleshooting methodology; Demonstrable ability to remain customer focused under pressure.
