We are currently looking for a SQL Server DBA [Database Administrator] to start a contract asap. You will have an in-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2000 / 2005, managing multiple databases on large systems/ enterprise environments. You will require practical experience of monitoring and tuning SQL Server databases and have previously worked on a migration project. The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of SQL Server clustering, Disaster Recovery (DR) and experience of DTS Stored Procedures, SQL Scripting and tuning. As part of the role you will be required to ensure the security, integrity, availability and performance of the databases as well as ensuring that database back ups are met in accordance with SLA's. Ideally you will have experience of Enterprise Manager. Please send your CV for this urgent vacancy.
