Business Systems Analyst RUP Software Applications Web Database. My client, a world leader in their field is now looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their rapidly expanding team.
The ideal candidate will have had proven experience in the design, development and implementation of new or enhanced systems. You must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of the technologies used by the firm to provide IT solutions and good knowledge of the processes involved in defining and delivering solutions. It is essential you have extensive experience of dealing with customers and eliciting requirements and extensive experience with core software applications, including Notes/ Domino, Web technologies and database development. You will also have previous experience of delivering projects using the Rational Unified Process (RUP).
The main purpose of this job is to provide Analysis and Delivery of services for internal clients with a greater emphasis on Systems rather than Business Analysis. You will be responsible for developing strong business area knowledge and become the subject matter expert, advising internal customers on opportunities for business process and systems improvements. You will assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. You will meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues. As part of this process you will review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
