My client, a market leading global organisation that operates within the defence and space sector, is currently looking to recruit a NOC Engineer to provide technical management of a secure network to the 2nd/ 3rd line support level.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
To provide control, monitoring and remote maintenance service of the network
Record and respond to any faults using fault-reporting tools like the Netcool Suite
Provide telephone assistance to the User and Resolver group
Perform initial troubleshooting of network faults using the Netcool Suite remote management tool
Diagnose problems and remotely fix them in accordance with the SLA, or call out Field Maintenance if necessary
Provide statistical reports as requested by the Team Leader
This role requires someone with a minimum Cisco CCNA, an HNC or equivalent in a communications or engineering discipline, and previous experience in either NOC environments or network installation.
As this position is located on a secure site and requires SC Clearance, all candidates must hold a current British Passport to be considered.
