LOCATED in ESSEX, this is an ATCA / Telecommunications Development type of role where you will be Programming in C under LINUX (Red Hat (RHEL) or Carrier Grade Linux / Carrier Grade SuSE) on large Clustered Systems (or on 'blades' which will be formed into Clusters)...
It is paying a superb package of up to £38,000pa basic + pension + bonus + full package of other benefits...
You should have Diagnostics Software experience, working specifically in C under Linux... ATCA Systems can be configured as Nodes or Switch Blades and can be inter-connected in a variety of ways to form Clusters.
The typical ATCA applications are Telecomms Switching, Interactive Media, VoD / Live recording and other related services...
Experience of programming ATCA Systems (or of any Multo-Node / Multi-CPU / Multi-Core Systems (especially any pipelining experience or 'shared-memory' expertise) would be useful.
You will require a good knowledge of Linux and C Development and some Linux Kernel-level / Device-Driver knowledge.
Again, this post is paying up to £38,000pa + a very good package of pension and other benefits.
