Network Specialist
We are currently recruiting for a Network Specialist, who has the responsibility for implementing the design for the national data centres for a major Government Programme
The Network Specialist will have a background in the design and documentation of enterprise network infrastructures, incorporating an extensive knowledge of Cisco environments and preferably knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft Windows and Lotus Domino.

Salary: £60K – 75K + flex Benefits
The Network Specialist will have Specific Networking Skills on the following areas:
• Cisco 2900 – 6500 series LAN switches: working experience of Cisco Catalyst series switches and the design, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Cisco 501 – 535 series PIX firewalls: working experience of PIX firewalls and the design, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of PIX firewalls in network environments.
• Cisco IOS: working experience on the use of Cisco IOS on various platforms.
• Cisco LAN switching technologies: VLAN, VTP, Spanning-Tree: working experience on the use of LAN switching technologies.
• Cisco Secure ACS: working experience on TACACS, RADIUS, AAA, configuration and deployment of Cisco AAA technologies to manage network security.
• Cisco Content Switching: working understanding of Cisco 11500 series Content switch functionality, configuration and deployment.
• CiscoWorks 2000. working understanding of deploying Ciscoworks LMS and VMS within a multinetwork environment.
