Our high profile customer in Central London requires 2 DV cleared E-Learning Consultants / Developers to work on initial 6 month contracts.
Background
The Learning Technologies Team (LTT) is part of the training section and has been set up to create e-learning material for the customer to support the need to train staff more effectively. The team has a requirement to create a significant number of packages very quickly from an aspirational list that has been drawn up during the past few weeks. Additional development expertise is required to meet this requirement. Part of the requirement may also include rewriting existing material to suit different specifications eg. to allow wider access by persons with disabilities and also to take into account developments within the training section in progressing towards the implementation of a Learning Management System.
Terms of Reference/ Job Description:
• Take responsibility for writing e-learning content based on approved designs to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Use knowledge and skills to decide effective combinations of learning activities taking account of the benefits sought.
• Apply innovative thinking to potential uses of e-learning to tackle Organisational priorities.
• Decide effective combinations of question styles; writing clear questions and responses.
• Demonstrate product to designer, user group members and other stakeholders.
• Receive and act on feedback to refine build.
• Present content for ‘approval to publish’.
Qualifications/ Experience required:
• E-learning design experience and ability to produce engaging designs suitable for target audience. (Essential)
• E-learning development and training delivery experience (Essential)
• Proven ability to use ARTICULATE and CAPTIVATE packages. (Desirable)
• Understanding of/ interest in graphic design. (Desirable)
• Understanding of integrating e-learning with Intranet. (Desirable)
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to 18 weeks.
