My client, a leading Investment Bank require a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer to join their global organisation.
Skills/ Experience (required):
Experience working within an Investment Banking environment; MCSE or MCSP in Win2k or WinXP or equivalent qualifications; Proven experience within Virtual Desktop infrastructure & VMware Vcenter; VMware, Virtual Center & ESX; Virtual Desktop Brokering Thin Clients; Change, Incident & Problem management; Experience of VMware and relating virtual technologies; Project Management skills.
Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure planning, design, testing, installation, configuration, support, training and delivery; Project management duties; Management and reporting of UK & Global VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure; Managing obaf the Broker model and provisioning of virtual machines and services; Change Management; Training desktop support staff on VDI technologies, updating documentation etc.
