Our Client is a world leader in comprehensive threat weapon systems and missile countermeasures solutions. They are currently looking to recruit a Safety Administrator to join their safety team to support the constant quest to uphold and improve their Environmental, Health & Safety processes and procedures.
The Role: Safety Administrator
As Safety Administrator you will be responsible for:
+ The implementation of the Environmental, Health and Safety control books
+ Providing guidance to all staff on Environmental, Health and Safety matters
+ Advising the Technical Director on any working practices changes that might be required to ensure the operations of the department
+ Monitoring and conduction of risk assessments
+ Ensuring that safety reports are completed and provided to the safety department in order that company consolidated reporting can be completed.
Experience:
As Safety Administrator you should have experience of:
+ HNC/ Degree Qualified or equivalent in an Engineering/ Safety/ Chemical or other relevant discipline
+ Experience of a Safety Environment
+ Good administration and organisation skills
+ Experience of health and Safety awareness in explosives would be an advantage
