Our client is one of the leading defence consultancies and they are looking to recruit a Contract Manager to provide Commercial guidance to those key organisational functions including but not limited to Business Development and Programme execution.
The Contract Manager will:
+ Provide guidance and support to the business area commercial staff
+ Business Agreement preparation and execution (e.g. teaming, confidentiality and licence)
+ Provide bid support to follow on and new business (including major bids)
+ May include management of sub-contractor competitive tender process, including subcontractor negotiations, contract compliance and performance monitoring
+ May include Customer contract negotiations, contract compliance and administration
+ Work proactively to turn potential risks into positive outcomes for the business
+ Work alongside the Programme Managers and Business Development Managers to identify opportunities and create business strategies
+ Develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers and subcontractors (as appropriate)
+ Provide contractual advice to business area
The Contract Manager will need:
+ A degree or equivalent experience
+ Experience in Negotiation of contracts
+ Strong communication skills
+ Experience of MOD Terms and Conditions
