Our client a leading organisation is currently looking to recruit an IT Development Manager to be based from Middlesbrough.
It is expected the successful applicant will have a background in business solution design and systems integration. You should be able to pick up the critical aspects of a business process and be able to transform these into IT requirements and manage the process of application selection. The organisation does not develop core business applications; it uses best in class available solutions that require tuning and integration. You will then manage business application architecture processes on a strategic level.
Reporting directly to the IT Director you will manage a team of business and system analysts and be responsible for managing projects, budgets and associated risks on the design and delivery of business solutions, in addition to the design of business continuity plans.
Visionary, innovative and creative with the ability to understand the organisation's needs, the ideal candidate will be process orientated and be able to see projects through to completion. You will ideally hold a relevant degree and have familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, IAF, Prince2 and ITIL are desirable.
