Infrastructure Service Manager, Unix, Wintel, DBA, Demand Management, Process Management. International Investment Bank seeks 2 Infrastructure Service Managers. One r needs to be technical in a number of disciplines, .The first candidate will be technically adept in core infrastructure technologies i.e. Wintel, DBA, Unix etc. The second needs to be more demand management/ Process background, accountable for the provision of MIS Reporting for the Infrastructure Account Management. The candidates will be required to:
•Co-ordinate and manage the concept of IT Service Management in order to obtain full department cost Transparency.
•To work with the IT Service Managers to calculate service costs and appropriate recharge metrics.
•To perform departmental budgeting and cost control.
•Manage and optimise the Infrastructure component of global WCS Technology discretionary investment budget in line with BU expectations and direction.
•Ensure all relevant contracts are documented and maintained.
Account Management
•Working with the vendor, facilitate communication of all changes to stakeholders across regional locations in conjunction with the Regional Account Management.
•Manage Technology Infrastructure service incidents in conjunction with the BU, Relationship management, Vendor Management and Regional account managers.
Demand & SLA Management
•Work with the Vendors, Relationship Managers and the BU's to ensure the effective delivery of Technology Infrastructure services, against agreed cost expectations.
•Review Infrastructure performance under the terms of the contract, understanding the need for contractual amendments and performance improvements.
•Assist Vendor Management in the pricing negotiation of Infrastructure related scope and volume changes.
•Communicate scope and infrastructure operational responsibilities contained within the contract to the BU's via the Relationship Managers based on support provided from Vendor Management.
•Ensure effective reporting of Infrastructure capacity management is in place to cater for foreseen demands in a timely manner.
Governance & Control
•Manage all waivers and dispensations for the UK IAM team, ensuring that all requests comply with the policies defined within AIM.
•Track all IT infrastructure projects to ensure they remain within governance and budget.
•Track Infrastructure related audit issues to a satisfactory conclusion.
•Track the delivery of Technology Infrastructure services to the agreed performance contracts
•Co-ordinating with Relationship Management the Infrastructure demand priorities and investment budgets.
•Work with the Technology Management support office to define and adhere to processes providing Financial Management for the Infrastructure components.
