One of our major Health client's is looking to recruit two Technical Deployment Specialists. Key responsibilities will be to investigate highly complex technical issues across a range of specialist technical areas. It is essential that these issues are then quickly and effectively resolved in order to not delay deployment of national applications. Applicants must have outstanding technical problem solving skills with proven senior level management experience in large/ complex organisations ideally within the public sector. They must be able to communicate, train and present on a range of complex technical issues conveying technical concepts clearly with the ability to present to groups of varying levels of technical experience.

The ideal candidates must have specialist technical knowledge of: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Servers; Unix and Linux technologies; network and server architectures, operating systems and middleware including VPNs and firewalls; network and application security including encryption, digital certification and smartcard technologies. As well as practical experience of supporting/ troubleshooting issues relating to the following technologies: IP Networks, Routing, Firewalls, Network masks, Port usage, proxy servers, DNS and IP addressing; configuration and support of security certificates and security implementations.
