<b>CDM Co-ordinator – Successful Consultancy - London</ b>

<b>The Company</ b>

This is an excellent construction and property consultancy established over 50 years ago with offices based in the South and Manchester. They are currently looking for a CDM Co-ordinator/ experienced CDM Co-ordinator to join their busy London office offering regional support for the South East.

They are a multi-disciplinary consultancy split into 4 divisions, one of which is the Project Safety division. As the ideal CDM Co-ordinator, you will be involved with a wide range of £multi-million construction projects in the London area including those within the Health, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure sectors in and around London – working for a spectrum of Blue-chip clients and Designers, handling projects from early pre-contract stages to construction on site.

<b>The role of CDM Co-ordinator for this Consultancy</ b>

You will be involved in a wide range of projects across all sectors in this role as CDM Co-ordinator, the majority being in London but with some responsibilities in the South East also. As the ideal CDM Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the application and implementation of the CDM regulations on behalf of the Client whilst also being involved in the application of Health and Safety Management by providing support, advice and training.

You will be experienced in the role of CDM Co-ordinator either currently working in London or looking to move into a role in the London area and will be used to advising Clients of the CDM regulations and requirements and on the competence and resources of proposed designers as well as providing advice to the Principal Contractor and Client on the competence or proposed sub-contractors.

<b>You</ b>

You will be a registered member of the APS (RMaPS) or will be working towards this registration and you will hold a NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent qualification in Health and Safety and either hold or be working towards CMIOSH.

In addition to being fully conversant with the CDM Regulations at CDM Co-ordinator level, you will have good knowledge of all other key Health & Safety Legislation and be capable of implementing the various workplace risk assessments and audits.

There is great potential to progress within this CDM Co-ordinator role and to assist in developing of new business for the health and safety team in London and therefore you must have good client facing and communication skills.

The successful candidate for this London based consultancy can expect to be rewarded with a competitive salary £35,000 - £40,000 plus car allowance and additional benefits.
