The Sales Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Team whilst reporting in to the Director of Sales and Marketing. A good understanding and grasp of the requirements of the Engineering Team is essential as is the ability to act as a link between the Engineering and Marketing teams.
The successful candidate will be an engineering graduate with at least 3 years aerospace experience, ideally gained supporting both civil and military sales. Knowledge of special variant sales (for example with a rotary wing manufacturer) and some experience of supporting air vehicle sales into the Military would be a distinct advantage
Key Tasks:
To prepare marketing presentations and other documents from raw engineering data to a high professional standard using Microsoft Powerpoint.
To act as the main interface between the Marketing and Engineering functions.
To support and develop the activities of the Marketing department and take responsibility for specific initiatives as required.
To attend presentations, meetings and other marketing initiatives and to represent the Company as required (for example, with potential operators).
It is anticipated that the role will develop to encompass the following areas of responsibility:
· Develop operational scenarios for customers.
· Prepare operating costs for air vehicles.
· Assist in the identification and development of requirements for new air vehicles.
