Oracle Developer / Data Warehouse Developer – Warrington
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oracle Developer to join my public sector client based in the Warrington area. Candidates must be experienced in Oracle Forms and Reports along with expertise in SQL. You will be educated to degree level in Computing or a related discipline and will have previous experience of designing, developing and implementing small to medium sized IT systems.
As the Oracle Developer you will be responsible for:
• Application Development and Support of web-based applications using Oracle Developer Suite and Application Express (any previous experience of Application Express would prove to be an advantage)
• Information management and Database administration, including backups, maintenance of user and group accounts and basic troubleshooting
• Reporting to ensure that timely and accurate information is available to user of the Data Warehouse
• Act as an expert for all Data Warehouse applications
• Train super-users in each application
Any experience of Oracle Discoverer, knowledge of Oracle Portal and/ or experience of Web Technologies (such as Apache, HTML or XML) would also be beneficial.
