A well known, highly successful name in the Betting/ Online Gaming industry seeks a SQL Server Development DBA to join their team in Middlesex. This person will have solid knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and Transact SQL (T-SQL) and Stored Procedures. Working for the Internet based side of the business this role will further the development of an in-house data warehouse solution. You will be responsible for new concepts, designing and reviewing RDBMS design. Additionally the role will support and troubleshoot development issues and you will mentor developers on utilizing the functionality of SQL Server 2005.
In addition to your development responsibilities you will suggest new approaches, tools and features of SQL server and related technologies and work to enhance the current system.

Candidates for this role must have strong Transact-SQL (T-SQL) skills and Stored Procedures. You must have experience in design, development and administering SQL Server 2005 high availability Data Warehouse solutions, and a solid working knowledge of Entity relationship modelling techniques. Highly desirable skills include the following: SSRS and SSAS , Informix, Oracle and Postgres.
Prior knowledge of the Ralph Kimball methodology would be highly advantageous.
