A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer to join a premier semiconductor company in a beautiful region of western Ireland. In this position you will work as part of a team on the design, validation and layout of our client's leading edge architecture products.

We are looking for engineers with strong RTL Design and Pre-Silicon Validation experience to enhance the existing group and in addition provide technical leadership. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

·Developing the micro-architectural specification of complex design blocks

·Logic implementation of complex blocks using RTL coding techniques

·Working with validation engineers to develop tests and environment

·Working with the Physical Design team on synthesis, formal verification and timing convergence

Requirements:

·Strong ASIC / SoC design experience

·Strong background in RTL level design using System Verilog and/ or Verilog

·Experience in unit level validation

·Experience with C/ C++, SystemC, Perl, Specman, e, shell scripting etc

·Knowledge in some of the following: Synthesis, Formal Verification, DFT, Primetime, DesignCompiler.
