A .Net & ADO.Net Developer is required by leading betting organisation in Central London. Also req is Agile & UML methodology. The ideal candidate will be a part of a team of 12 .Net Developers, so we're seeking a real team player!
The .Net developer will be developing software on a market leading solution - distributed enterprise level SOA oriented trading system and various services for betting industry. This system handles 4,000 requests a second so it's very complex but interesting at the same time!
This very large project utilizes technologies, including: NET 2.0 + WinForms + MVP powered with CompositeUI application block (CAB) for complex trading system's UI on client side and NET 3.0 +WCF and MSMQActivMQ messaging + WSE for communicating with the client for the server side, implemented as an approx. 20 SOA services and MS SQL Server 2005 as RDB. Use of MS application blocks on both client and server side.
Environment: Agile + TDD. Full code coverage with functional tests (NUnit, RhinoMock). Automated testing and deployment.
Skills required Technical : - 3 years experience in: .net framework with at least 1 years exp in .net 2 ADO.net, Web Services or WSE or WCF, Winforms.net 3 beneficial, enterprise lib beneficial, cab beneficial, XML, T-SQL, UML, NAnt beneficial, OO analysis and design, Domain driven design, story based development, TDD essential, mock objects beneficial Continuous integration.
The teams are largely self organising and, given the direction of the product champion and the technical framework of the architect, you should take pride in your ability to develop and deliver stories using speedy, simple and robust techniques.
