This is a client facing role and some Pre-Sales experience is preferred, as is someone who understands client needs and issues. Your role will involve installing and configuring IBM Products, both internally and at client sites, ensuring other Team members can provide effective cover for these activities, and supporting the deployment of our Solutions services through involvement in client's implementation strategy, testing and training, working with IBM Power System Technicians participating in the developing the infrastructure requirements and business solutions appropriate for customers. You will take primary responsibility for Technical Pre-Sales activity, including Infrastructure design, completing Proof of Concepts, responding completely to sections allocated to Technical Services in all RFI and RFP, including Infrastructure and solution design, provisional pricing, sizing and benchmarking. You should be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the latest two versions of Windows Operating Systems, MS Apps, and backup solutions. Server builds, imaging with a working knowledge of Linux SuSe and Red Hat.
