Are you a mechanical design engineer with experience of designing mechanisms?
This is a varied cradle to grave project role designing hi tech components for the automotive market; involving both new concept and remodification designs.
The company has been established over 90 years and has a reputation for quality and innovation. They are a world wide manufacturer of automotive components for tier 1. They have over 450 employees in the UK and have a company turnover of over £40 million. They have a full order book and are looking to are expanding their product range to meet a number of prestigious client's needs.
You will receive full training on the design software including Catia along with FMEA. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide array of design projects that will broaden and develop your skills.
Progression to senior design positions and management is a real possibility with this company due to the continued growth.
The Role:
* Concept design of mechanised electro-mechanical components.
* Remodification of existing designs.
* Working as part of a team to deliver designs in line with project deadlines.
The Person:
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering minimum.
* Must have experience of designing mechanisms.
* Experience of plastic components or injection molding would be an advantage.
