Our Client, originally established in the early nineties, has grown, through acquisition and merger to become one of the UK's leading leisure and retails organisations.

An opportunity currently exists within this organisation for a technical support analyst to be responsible for all technical and administration aspects of the groups retained server, storage and database infrastructure.

The Role

This is a technical specialist role covering a multitude of technology skills including server, storage and database. Responsible for working with other technical colleagues to provide and second and third line technical support as well as specialist technical input into future projects requiring new or changes to the group infrastructure.

The Person, technically –

Significant experience in all or some of the following areas, SUN & AS400 infrastructure hardware and software including Solaris, IBM i-series, AS400 CA Unicentre, CA Autosys
Database technologies – Oracle, Ingress, DB2, MS SQL
Back Up – including Netbackup

The Person, competencies –

Experience of working in a fast paced retail business, excellent communication skills, able to work effectively under pressure.

This is a permanent role and the opportunity to join one of the UK's leading groups within its sector. Salary will be to £40,000 plus excellent benefits package.
