Our client a market leader in their field require a Technical Consultant to join their team based in the Nottingham area.
Your core remit for the role will be the responsibility for supporting a subset of the company product portfolio to a client base. The role will encompass Technical Support, Consultancy, on site installation work for a specific product set and once formally qualified you will occasionally deliver accredited training courses to end users.
You must have a working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, MS Exchange, networking principles LAN / WAN. Experience of IT infrastructure Security principles such as Firewalls, Anti Virus is essential.
Exposure to 1 or more of the following IT Security products - Secure Computing, Juniper, RSA, Trend Micro, Swivel, Radware is needed. Good experience of the product "Secure" would be highly beneficial to your application. A driving license is also essential.
Salary is £25k - £30k + £6k car allowance + benefits.
