Embedded C / Linux Engineer with strong Embedded C, Linux and Device Driver expertise required for a leading set-top box company in Northern England. My client is seeking a strong Embedded C / Linux Engineer to assume the role of technical lead integrating a JTAG debugger into a Linux Fedora Core. You will be:
-Implementing Linux hardening and various forms of compressed filesystem;
-Integrating JTAG debugger into Linux Fedora Core;
-Experienced ideally with Linux Kernel 2.4 and 2.6;
-Experienced in the set-top box or consumer electronics industry;
This is an excellent opportunity to stay within or move across to a boom area within the embedded industry typically ensuring long contracts and security. Telephone interviews are available for the right engineers and face to face interviews will follow The client is prepared to wait up to a month for the ideal engineer but immediate availability would be highly desirable.
