This is an excellent opportunity for a CCNA accredited individual to move into a pre sales role. Based in the City, my client is a large, impressive IT services company with clients UK wide. They are looking for an ambitious engineer with good customer service skills to work in a pre-sales capacity in their Central London offices, producing service quotations and ensuring service levels and customer expectations are met.
Ideally you will have worked for 1 year or more in a Cisco environment, either in a technical support role, or in a Cisco Technical Sales capacity - you might have the CSE exam (cisco Sales expert) accreditation under your belt.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to move into a customer facing role - you will be working the sales team, providing internal technical support to the sales force to ensure accurate and competitive quotes are provided.
Key skills for this role are good knowledge of the Cisco product set, ideally some experience in a technical role, some commercial know-how, excellent communication skills (particularly on the telephone).
This is not a hard-selling role but will rather suit someone who is commercially focussed, with a focus on customer service who can also demonstrate a technical appreciation of the Cisco product set. An excellent career path is on offer, this person will eventually gain the opportunity to step into pre sales consultancy, Technical sales or even Cisco architecture.
A good starting salary is on offer - potentially £27k for the right person and also a £6k bonus (uncapped) + excellent benefits. You will be based out of impressive City Centre premises with an enthusiastic team focussed on service excellence.
