Based in Paris, France our client is looking for a Business Development person who will be responsible for helping Sales Teams close new business opportunities. This role will be focussed on developing business across Europe, as well as assisting existing customers with technical product and application issues. This position is an integral part of the Territory Account strategy. The geographical focus will be in EMEA region so some travel will be required.
Your key responsibilities will be ensuring revenue targets for EMEA are achieved, that new opportunities are uncovered and the regional sales people have all the technical and product information required to successfully sell these products.
Hence you will need a degree qualification in technology or equivalent with experience of semiconductor/ components or single board computers either in a business development or product marketing capacity. Distribution experience would be advantageous as would experience of embedded systems, single board computers or microprocessors. Finally you should have strong communication and presentation skills, be self driven and a team player and fluent in English with ideally additional European language skills.
