Responsibilities
•Development of Waste Management business for the Waste Management & Environment Business in Civil Nuclear Business Group
•Provision of consultancy on a range of technical projects.
•Recruitment and the shaping the development of a team, as the work stream grows, in the area of Waste Management.
•Project management and delivery of work to agreed timescales and budgets.
•Production of high quality technical reports.
•Presentation of results to customers, regulators and other stakeholders.
•Preparation of high quality proposals built upon an in-depth understanding of customers problems and of our capacity to solve them.
•Broader business development in the Civil Nuclear Sector.
Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience
•The successful candidate will have a good first degree in mathematics, physics, or earth sciences discipline and, ideally, a post-graduate qualification.
•They will have demonstrable experience, over a number of years, of successfully managing projects (and people) and in the successful delivery of such projects
•They will be numerate and able to use a range of appropriate software packages.
•They will have experience of interactions with customers, regulators and other stakeholders.
•They will be able to demonstrate a strong record of business development or business in the Civil Nuclear Sector.
•Full, clean UK Drivers Licence.
•Security clearance will be required.
