Our client, a leading financial organistation are seeking a Unix/ Linux Administrator.
We are seeking a Unix/ Linux Administrator with strong Solaris and Linux server systems administration skills to join our global Unix/ Linux Systems Administration team. Primary responsibilities for this position include:
Primary responsibilities for this position include:·
providing production support for Unix/ Linux systems, and for both off-the-shelf and custom applications, as part of a global team, including troubleshooting of issues as they arise.·
ongoing management of systems including patching, monitoring and security awareness.·
participation in OOH and weekend on-call support for business critical issues·
weekend configuration changes, updates and application release deployments, as required·disaster recovery planning and testing.
Well organized and able to plan projects over long-term, as well as respond positively to short and medium terms business needs. Highly motivated with great drive to succeed with tasks and results driven. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Great team working skills as well as being able to take a project on individually and see it through to completion.
