SUN Systems Administrator - ISP - London - required strong in Sun Solaris 10 systems administration, Sun Cluster 3, High End Servers (e.g. E20K), Shell Scripting, Software Build and Release and the complete development release cycle to work for my world recognised established client. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of the Sun Solaris Systems Administrators team whose main function is to help implement the delivery of new systems designs into the existing infrastructure, whilst ensuring the stability and scalability of the installed systems base. Responsibilities will include support and maintenance of the 24x7 systems continuity and fault fixing, review of log files, systems updates, maintenance, and delivering monthly reports on performance and availability of systems. The chosen candidate must be experienced in Solaris 10 systems administration , Sun Cluster 3, High End Servers (e.g. E20K), Shell Scripting, and Software Build and Release. Experience in networking, firewalls, programming (C#, Java), Load Balancing, SANs, or working in a telecommunications area is highly desirable.
