My client are a leading global consultancy business with offices in London. They currently have an exciting position available for an outstanding candidate to join their team as Desktop Support Specialist.
You will work within a team providing support to an internal user base supporting 500+ users within an XP environment supporting Office 2003, Citrix, Symantec anti virus and many other client applications. You will provide a 2nd level diagnostic support for Laptops, Desktops, PDA's monitors and AV hardware.
You will have:
- Proven Desktop Support experience.
- Experience supporting MS Windows XP and supporting a variety of applications
- Good understanding of hardware set up, config, and repair.
- Excellent customer facing and communications skills
- Awareness of infrastructure technology, such as Active Directory, LANS, TCP/ IP VPN's would be beneficial although not essential.
