Job Description:
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Java Developer. This role entails developing high quality web applications for clients throughout the world. The successful candidate should be a graduate in computer science or related discipline and have experience of Java XHTML, CSS, and SQL with a proven track record.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of existing applications.
• Development of new applications.
• System design.
• Providing accurate estimations of the time and resources required to complete a project.
• Work to project deadlines.
• Communication and presentation of new functionality to customers as part of beta testing.
• Implementation planning.
• Authoring and maintaining documentation.
• Training internal staff on new applications.
• Undertake research of new tools and processes.
• Introduction of new tools and processes.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in our products. Essential characteristics for the role are a willingness to engage in duties to provide both a high quality and excellent standard of service. In return we offer a competitive salary for the position from £35000 - £40000. 37.5 hours weekly.
