Development Team Leader with a strong knowledge of VB6, Oracle, SQL and C#.Net, required for a position with a leading medical software vendor based in Surrey. The successful candidate will be required to lead a small team and so experience as a team lead is essential, alongside proven experience using VB6, (COM/ Active X components, WIN 32 Client, ADO.Net) Oracle ( 9i or above, PL/ SQL, Stored Procedures) SQL Server (SQL Server 2000, TSQL) and C#.Net. Other desirable skills include UML, OOAD, VSS or SourceOffSite, VISIO or Enterprise Architect, and experience within a .Net environment using Visual Studio 2005 or above. Ideally you will be Microsoft certified. The role requires heading up a new support development team, initially dealing with VB6, but gradually taking on more projects based around C#.Net development.
