My cleint is currently searching for a Solutions Architect to join the team on a contract basis.
Key accountabilities and duties:
Ability to capture requirements, perform system analysis and assemble
high-level
Technical Solutions using Java and J2EE technologies
Ensure that the technical solution complies with the existing Enterprise
Architecture.
Interact with other Business and Architecture team on integration and
application architecture.
Consultancy skills presentation, requirements capture, IT Proposal
writing
Ability to lead hands-on Proof of Concepts
Knowledge, skills and experience Essential:
Experience in designing systems with OOAD methodologies
Experience in designing systems based on Service Orientated
Architecture
Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, SCA
Experience of working in Iterative development methods
Knowledge of BEA WebLogic
Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, PL/ SQL
JIRA, Rational product suite (ClearCase, ClearQuest, Rose)
Experience as an Architect designing large Java J2EE highly distributed
event driven architectures
Experience in architecting and building high transaction or high
throughput systems
In depth technical understanding in Java, JEE, Web Services and XML
