Our client is a world leading guided missiles and missile systems company. They are currently looking to recruit a Systems Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team.
The Role: Systems Engineer
Rate: c. £34ph - £35ph
Location: Bristol
Start: Immediate
Security Clearance: SC
The Role: Systems Engineer
As Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ System Design activities for the development of Mission Planning products
+ Develop design specifications under guidance and carry out design activities in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards
+ Carry out standard technical investigations and analyses to provide data for problem assessment/ resolution and for the design of improvements
+ Specify tests within a clearly defined area and evaluate and make recommendations based on results, including making suggestions to improve test/ diagnosis processes
+ Assess implications of data analysis and formulate initial conclusions to more senior engineers to take necessary decisions or actions
+ Supply a technical interface with suppliers/ customers at a detailed level, ensuring the effective provision of support to customers in assigned areas in line with customer requirements and programme plans, as well as the rapid resolution or escalation of problems and issues
Experience:
As Systems Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant technical discipline
+ Relevant experience in systems engineering
+ Analytical and problem solving skills
+ Understanding of the system design process
+ Practical experience of algorithm development
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
