Technical Author / Writer required by Ireland-based company to prepare technical documentation in order to provide updates to and present training materials for their key products. Degree qualified, preferably with a good semiconductor R&D background.
Key Irish client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to manage documentation updates, prepare training manuals and produce presentations for their products.
Requirements:
-Proven technical writing abilities, from the semiconductor/ electronics industry
-Understanding of EDA tools and IP products
-Knowledge of Unix, HTML development and MS Word is highly desirable
-SGML, FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat is a plus
Responsibilities:
-Create on-line documentation, data sheets, drawings and applications notes
-Maintenance of documentation systems to ensure accuracy
-Work with R&D engineers to ensure that all details and updates etc are captured
