Engineering Manager
Remuneration:
£40000 + bonus + pension + 25 days holiday
In this senior management role; you will full responsibility for all maintenance issues and capital expenditure across the site.
This role offers a high level of autonomy in a company where you will make a key impact in the success of the plant; with high level of involvement in factory equipment improvements.
The company is a well-established, high-volume manufacturing organisation within the food industry supplying brand leading products to large retailers nationwide. Having recently invested in several new production lines they are now looking to make improvements to their manufacturing process and need to increase their maintenance function to ensure full support to the production facility.
As the company is a £billion turnover business with multiple sites throughout the Uk, therefore good chances of progression available for candidates looking for this.
The Role:
* Managing a team of 5 maintenance engineers.
* Identifying and implementing improvements to existing equipment.
* Identifying and new suppliers for new equipment and managing installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Organising maintenance schedules.
* Ensuring efficient running of the plant.
The Candidate:
* Technical / engineering background - mechanical or electrical.
* HNC - Degree qualified, or equivalent.
* Experience of managing a maintenance department.
* Experience of managing a engineering projects.
* Experience with capital equipment expenditure.
