Are you a Product Engineer with skills in engineering, design and/ or project management? Are you looking for a challenging and autonomous position within a world wide company that can develop your skills?
The company manufacture components and accessories for major automotive manufacturers and dealers. With over 35 years experience in the industry and 1000 staff world wide the company are well known in the market place for quality and innovation. With 50 people based at their site in Northamptonshire and a multi million pound turnover on this site alone, the company has planned growth of at least 30% year on year.
As a result of their continued sucess there is an opportunity for a Product Development Engineer to join the team during this exciting period of growth.You will be managing your own projects, liasing with on site and remote departments, reviewing, fine tuning and advising on the technical delivery of the project with a high level of autonomy.

The Role
* You will draw on your practical experience or devise an innovative approach to overcome design and production issues and successfully transfer the product from development through to production.
* You will be responsible for assessing the suitability of other engineers design work based on customer requirements.
* You will work without detailed supervision when undertaking responsible engineering assignments, however you will recieve technical support and guidance through a driven management structure.
The Candidate
* An enthusiastic attitude and an innovative and enquiring approach to problem solving.
* Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Design with 2 or more years of relevent experience.
* Good organisational and project management skills.
* CAD design skills would be advantageous.
