Looking for an Applications Manager with semiconductor/ IC experience to manage a team of 6 application engineers. Will need to be degree qualified in Electronics or a similar subject with Technical Management experience within the semiconductor/ IC marketplace - this could be from managing an Applications team or within a Project/ Programme Management environment with direct people responsibility.
Fabless semiconductor/ IC client is looking for an Applications Manager to manage to a team that currently consists of 6 application engineers. Your primary goal will be team management but you will also be expected to pay an important contribution to technical discussions.
Key duties will be managing daily activities and quarterly/ annual reviews. In addition you will be working with sales and marketing teams to manage customer support priorities and ensure that customers receive the highest level of technical support. You will also coordinate and plan all activities including the development of reference designs, GUIs, application notes and related firmware.
Hence you will be need to be degree qualified in Electronics or a similar subject with Technical Management experience within the semiconductor/ IC marketplace - this could be from managing an Applications team or within a Project/ Programme Management environment with direct people responsibility.
You should have excellent relationship building skills combined with strong presentation and team building skills. This represents a rare opportunity to manage a growing team within a company that has had significant success in recent years.
