Systems Engineer
An Avionic Systems Engineer is required to join our clients company and provide expertise on a number of large projects.
Excelling in the bespoke design of complex electronic, electromechanical and electrical solutions for harsh climatic and electromagnetic environments in the Defence and Aerospace industry, our client will offer excellent opportunities to those in the early stages of their career and who want to further develop further.
Requirements and experience of Systems Engineer
+Significant embedded software and hardware experience
+Systems Engineering Aerospace and Defence industry
+Systems Architecture in Avionics and specification experience
+Requirements capture and management
+Configuration management
+Must have experience in a customer-facing role
+Hold a degree or equivalent in a related Engineering degree
+Working experience of DO-178B and DO-254 is highly desirable
Responsibilities of Systems Engineer
+Design and develop systems and their specifications
+Plan and test specifications
+Provide systems integration
+Systems test
+Participate in technical meetings with customers and attend customer sites when required
This role requires someone who is still and “hands on” Systems Engineer who will role their sleeves up and get their hands dirty. The successful candidate must be able to obtain UK Security Clearance.
