You will be involved in the development of a range of advanced software applications for use in a number of Communications Systems. The applications will cover areas such as DSP, RF Modelling, Image Analysis, Databases and Network Applications
To devise and implement software and validate advanced communication techniques based on wireless and wired networking technologies.
The successful applicant may be involved in a variety of approaches to such activities, e.g mathematical analysis, computer simulation and experimental work in the laboratory or in realistic operational environments. Opportunities are also present to address image analysis and radio system planning techniques.

Also, to contribute to the further development of software and programming methodologies, tools and standards, with particular emphasis on security engineering and network-based applications.
